Assassin's Creed Unveils Surprising AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations reverberate through the shadows." The narrative features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden group.
The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
